The Bac Son Valley in Lang Son is surrounded by limestone mountains with breathtaking natural settings. Local ethnic Tay and Nung cultivate their rice fields not at the same time hence rice fields of different colors. From the peak of the Na Lay Mountain gazing down, it is a spectacular landscape!

The trip should be best done in the first three weeks or July or first three weeks of October. There is no rice in the fields from after October through January. The landscape is nice still without rice in the fields but it is very lovely a scenery if it is colored by rice.

Detailed itinerary 0800 Depart from Hanoi for the Bac Son Valley. 1130 Arrive at Bac Son, have a walk around the village. 1200-1300 Lunch. 1300-1430 Climb the steep trail to the top of the Na Lay Mountain. 1430-1800/1830 Travel back to Hanoi. End of service.
