Detailed itinerary

Day1 Arrive at Saigon/Saigon Ho Chi Minh City – Cat Tien National Park (L/D)

0800 Pickup from the hotel and transfer to the Cat Tien National Park. The road trip takes 3-4 hours depending on the traffic conditions.

Arriving at the park, cross the ferry and proceed to the park headquarters. Free time for bird-watching along the path from the park headquarters.
Lunch and dinner at the national park restaurant.
Overnight at Cat Tien.

Day2 Cat Tien National Park Full Day Bird Watching (specialist tour guide included) (B/L/D)

Breakfast at the guest house.
A full day of bird-watching assisted with a park specialist birding tour guide. We start early and travel by jeep to the direction of the Crocodile Lake. Bird species to be spotted include Green Peafowl, Bronze-winged Jacana, Lesser Adjutant and Purple Heron.

In the afternoon, travel by jeep to the Elephant Hill for more bird-watching. More bird species to be seen which include Red, Black and Banded Broadbill, Orange-breasted Trogon and Pale-headed Woodpecker amongst others.

Overnight at Cat Tien.

Day3 Cat Tien National Park - Saigon (B/L)

Breakfast at the guest house.
Free time for birding along the headquarters road where you may spot Green-eared, Blue-eared and Lineated Barbet.Check out of your room.
Lunch at the national park restaurant.
