The Chu Mom Ray National Park covers the territories of Ngoc Hoi and Sa Thay Districts, Kon Tum Province in the Central Highlands of Vietnam. 56,000 hectares.

Geography

The Chu Mom Ray National Park terrain includes grassland, mountains, forested mountains on elevation of 2,00m to nearly 1,800m above sea level. There are several rivers crisscrossing the area of the national park providing important water source to the ecosystem.

The Ja Book Valley inside the national park is the biggest valley in Vietnam with the total area of 16,000 hectares.

Weather and Climate

The Chu Mom Ray National Park has a tropical monsoon climate with variations influenced by high altitudes. There are two distinct seasons per year: rainy season from May through November and dry season from December through April.

1534 floral species

718 fauna species: 115 mammal species, 275 bird species, 41 reptile and amphibian species, 108 fish species, 179 insect species.

Luxury infrastructure for tourism in Kon Tum is simply not available yet, but there are decently clean hotels and restaurants in Kon Tum Town, the provincial capital of the province.
