Streaked barwing

The streaked barwing (Actinodura souliei) is a species of bird in the family Leiothrichidae.

The species is found distributed at elevations of 1,700 to 3,000 meters in China in Sichuan and Yunnan, as well as northwestern Vietnam in provinces such as Lai Châu, Lào Cail, Hà Giang, Điện Biên, Sơn La, and Yên Bái.

Leiothrix Leiothrichidae Ancient Greek leios meaning "smooth" and thrix meaning "hair".
The name Actinodura is derived from Greek words meaning "ray-like tail" (actinodes and ura).
