Trekking Nhiu Co San Mountain is hard adventure tour to the peak of the Nhiu Co San Mountain at 2,965m above sea level. The award for the hard efforts is the captivating landscape with waterfalls, forests, mountain peaks and clouds.

Trekking Tour Nhiu Co San Mountain Overview

On the tour, we have two nights on the train back and forth between Lao Cai and Hanoi and one night at a wooden hut on the mountain at 2,300m.

Detailed itinerary

Day1    Hanoi free day/Overnight Train for Lao Cai (no included meal)

Taxi from your hotel to Hanoi Railway Station. Take the train journey bound for Lao Cai. It's advisable that you get good sleep on the train. Tomorrow will be a long day with hard trek. Lack of sleep is more likely to cause troubles to your adventure ahead.

Day2    Lao Cai – Den Sang – Nhiu Co San Village (8km by motorbike) (Bat Xat) – Nhiu Co San Peak (2,965m) – Mountain Hut (2,300m) (B/L/D)

0600 Arriving at Lao Cai Train Station, get hot breakfast accompanied by hot coffee. Then take the road adventure heading northwest along the Chinese border to Den Sang. 
0900 A.M Meet our local team and transfer by motorbike to Nhiu Co San Village where our trek starts.
0930-1400: Trekking up hill all the way to the hut. We’ll visit a waterfall (Queen Bee) on the way and trek uphill through a forest.
1400-1600 Leave some of our gears at the hut and continue onto the summit.
1600-1730 Descend to the hut and have easy time sipping hot tea and coffee.
Accommodation at 2,300m in a mountain hut with rustic conditions.

Day3    Mountain Hut – Nhiu Co San Village – Sapa – Lao Cai (B/L/D)

Breakfast at the hut.
0730 Get our gears and descend the mountain.
1100 Arrive at Nhiu Co San Village, transfer by motorbike to Den Sang where our car takes us to Sapa. 
1230-1330 Lunch at Sapa.
Afternoon visit the Muong Hoa Valley: Lao Chai and Ta Van Villages.
1700 Transfer back to Lao Cai for the overnight train bound for Hanoi.
1800-1900 early dinner.
Overnight on board the train.

Day4    Arrive at Hanoi/End of service (no included meals)

Arrive back at Hanoi early in the morning. Take a taxi to your hotel (within the city center). End of service.
