While at Cuc Phuong, only small animals are reported, the wildlife at the nature reserves of Ngoc Son-Ngo Luong and Pu Luong remains a mystery. 

Flora and wildlife at Cuc Phuong have suffered badly from illegal logging and poaching for decades. Recently, tougher law enforcement on protecting forest and wildlife in Vietnam has been observed, but at a too slow pace and mostly slower than the disappearance of several wild animal species. 

It is really annoying to see there are restaurants in all over Vietnam, even nearby to Cuc Phuong National Park in Nho Quan Township (and many other wildlife areas in Vietnam), which advertise publicly and serve wild birds and wild animals.
