The Bidoup Nui Ba National Park is located on the Langbiang Plateau with the averaged altitudes of around 1,500m above sea level. The terrain of the national park includes rolling hills, high mountains covered in pine forest, primary forest.

The Lang Biang Plateau is the starting point of the Dong Nai River with its tributaries. The plateau has mostly temperate climate with pleasant or cool temperatures. The Lang Biang Plateau is part of an Endemic Bird Area (EBA) thanks to its rich endemic bird species.
