Tam Dao National Park, which is 80km from Hanoi with a system of forest on limestone mountains, is among the most interesting national parks in Vietnam in observing wildlife.

The national park is home to 87 animal species of which 28 species are listed as endangered or critically endangered species, and are specially protected in Vietnam as well as in the World. Four species of the 28 endangered species might have been extinct at Tam Dao National Park.
