Quang Ninh Travel Guide

Quang Ninh is situated in the North East of Vietnam. The capital city is Halong, 165km from Hanoi. The Province is more known to the travelers with the unrivaled beauty of Halong Bay; while there are many other tourist attractions that are worth your exploration.

To the north of Halong Bay, there are islands and deserted beaches that only some local tourists would travel to. Facilities in these areas are poor and English is not often understood, but a trip to these places would bring you the untouched natural beauty and a relaxing time.

There are ranges of high mountains of over 1,000m above sea level and dense forests between Quang Ninh, Lang Son and Bac Giang Provinces. Only some adventure travelers have made trips to these places. Tourist facilities are not available in these areas; and most local residents are of ethnic groups, who do not have much contact with the outside world.

If you are an adventure traveler, then the mountains, the sea and the forests of Quang Ninh could be a good challenge. AdventureGreen offers motorbike adventures, hard trekking tours and adventure boat trips in Quang Ninh Province. Quang Ninh could also be combined on a trip to the North East of Vietnam taking in Bac Kan, Cao Bang, Lang Son and Quang Ninh Provinces.
