1/ Xeo Quyt Former Viet Cong Combat Base (in My Long and My Hiep Commune, Cao Lanh District)

The site is a forest of 50 hectares where Viet Cong Fighters took refuge. Xeo Quyt is home to 170 floral species and 200 fauna species (snakes, pythons, turtles, birds…). Visiting Xeo Quyt, you’ll learn about the old fighting bunkers, the battles in the past, the ecosytem. In the rainy season you’ll visit the area by boat and in the dry season you can get lost on foot in the amazing cool wild forest following endless trails…

Your local guide at Xeo Quyt are beautiful young girls dressed up in guerrilla clothes whose charm is to take your breaths away… Xeo Quyt is 25km northwest of the My Thuan Bridge (Vinh Long), 30km southeast of Cao Lanh City.

2/Gao Giong Ecotourisme (In Gao Giong Commune, Cao Lanh District, 30km north of Cao Lanh City, 150km from Ho Chi Minh City)

Gao Giong is a vast area of flooded land with a system of forests, bird parks, ponds… The reserved area of protecting birds is 40 hectare and the reserved land for fish is 350 hectares…. The total reserved area is about 1,700 hectares. Gao Giong can be visited on foot or by boat. There is an observation tower for the visitors to have good view of the whole area.

3/Sa Dec Flower Village (140km from Ho Chi Minh City)

The flower fields of Sa Dec are by the breezy Tien River. The total area for growing flowers is about 200 hectares and you’ll be lost amid colors and pleasant smells visiting Sa Dec. AdventureGreen offers tour on foot and bicycle tours to visit the flower fields of Sa Dec.

4/Tram Chim National Park (in Tam Nong, 40km northwest of Cao Lanh City, 70km northwest of Sa Dec City)

Tram Chim is the 2,000th Ramsar Site in the World. Tram Chim National Park covers an area of 7,600 hectares of wetland and forest in the famed Dong Thap Muoi. The national park is home to 250 bird species and 190 floral species. The best time for observing birds at Tram Chim is from late December to the beginning May. The best moments for birding watching at Tram Chim are found at dawn and dark and the Beauty Queen of Tram Chim is the Red-Headed Cranes!
