The motorbike tour Vietnam is an off-the-beaten path adventure from the North to the Central Region for 12 days 11 nights.

The trip is designed for travelers who love riding motorcycle through scenic nature and travel to less-visited beauties of Vietnam.

On the tour, you'll visit ethnic communities, less-visited national parks with diverse ecosystem, former Mountains at Tan Lac, Hoa Binhbattlefields and UNESCO World Heritage Sites of Phong Nha – Ke Bang, Hue and Hoi An. Much of our trip is on the legendary Ho Chi Minh Trail where some of modern history of Vietnam is to be learned.

The pace of travel is moderate that you'll ride a bicycle for more or less 200km per day on paved roads. AdventureGreen tries not to have our trip via busy roads and much of our ride on this tour is on quiet roads, some are traffic-free.

On the first day, we take Route 6 leaving Hanoi for the North-West. Once out of the city, you can feel the fresh air and the quiet scenery around. The first half of the trip is on flat terrain with amazing mountains along the way, the second half is more uphill with breathtaking view every now and again. Our destination is Mai Chau Valley, inhabited by White Thai ethnic minority. We stay with a Thai family in a house on stilts tonight.

On the second day, we ride on a mountain road leaving Mai Chau for the idyllic countryside of Thanh Hoa Province. There are rice paddies with outcrops along the way that you may like to stop often to take in with the camera. At Thanh Hoa, we also start riding on the first leg of the historical Ho Chi Minh Trail which supplied war materials from the North to the South of Vietnam during the war. We arrive at Ben En National Park in early afternoon. The rest of the day is for exploring the national park.Ho Chi Minh Trail in Thanh Hoa

On the fourth day, we ride on Ho Chi Minh Trail again for Phong Nha – Ke Bang National Park. The afternoon is for visiting the Paradise Cave and the park. Near Phong Nha – Ke Bang, Ho Chi Minh Trail forks out into 2 branches: Ho Chi Minh Trail the East and the West.

We'll visit a number of sites which were famous during the war including: the Rockpile, McNamara Line, Dakrong Bridge, Khe Sanh Combat Base, Lang Vay.
