Detailed itinerary

Day1 Ha Noi – Cao Bang – Quang Uyen (B/L/D)

08:00 A.M Our team picks you up from your hotel and we travel through the fresh countryside of north-eastern Vietnam with low hills and plantations of green tea to Bac Kan Town.
Lunch at Bac Kan.
In the afternoon, continue further to Quang Uyen passing through Cao Bang City.
Welcomed at the hosts’ family.
Overnight at Quang Uyen.

Day2 Quang Uyen Hiking Tour (13km)/Quang Uyen – Thung Mountain – Quang Uyen (B/L/D)

Breakfast at the homestay.
Exploring the scenic landscape of Quang Uyen which is similar to Halong Bay with a hiking experience through the high mountains (600-800m), evergreen pastures, corn fields and villages. We’ll have spectacular views of the surroundings from the mountain top and have time to learn about the daily life of local ethnic groups and their vanishing occupations.
Lunch and dinner at the homestay.
Overnight at Quang Uyen.

Day3 Quang Uyen – Nguom Ngao Cave (1-2km hiking) – Ban Gioc Waterfall – Quang Uyen (B/L/D)

Breakfast at the homestay.
0800 A.M Travel to Trung Khanh with amazing mountains and valleys on the way.
Visit the well-hidden Nguom Ngao Cave and the famed Ban Gioc Waterfall.
Lunch at a local restaurant and dinner at the homestay.
Travel back to Quang Uyen.

Day4 Quang Uyen – Lang Son/Visit Lang Son/ Lang Son – Ha Noi (B/L)

Breakfast at the homestay.
Scenic drive through Route Coloniale 4 once marked fierce battles between the Viet Minh troops and the French troops to Lang Son City. Visit Lang Son: To Thi Mountain and Tam Thanh Cave.
Lunch at Lang Son.
Travel back to Hanoi. End of service.
