The eyebrowed thrush (Turdus obscurus) is a member of the thrush family Turdidae. 
The bird is strongly migratory, wintering south to China and Southeast Asia. 

The genus name Turdus is Latin for "thrush".
obscurus Latin dark, obscure, dusky.
