Himalayan buzzard (Buteo refectus)

The Himalayan buzzard (Buteo refectus) is a medium to large bird of prey of the family Accipitridae.

The bird is native to the Himalayas in Nepal, India and adjacent mountains of southern China.

Buteo (Latin): Refers to a buzzard, a type of bird of prey. 
Refectus is a Latin word, the perfect passive participle of reficio, meaning rebuilt, restored, repaired, renewed, or refreshed. It is formed from re- (again) + facere (to make/do).
