Black stork (Hạc đen, Ciconia nigra)

The black stork (Ciconia nigra) is a large bird in the stork family Ciconiidae.

In the summer, the black stork is found from Eastern Asia (Siberia and northern China) west to Central Europe.
The bird is migratory, wintering in tropical Africa and Asia; some populations are sedentary though.

Ciconiiformes, Ciconiidae comes from Latin Ciconia (stork).
nigra is from the Latin word for "black".
