The besra (Tachyspiza virgata), also called the besra sparrowhawk, is a bird of prey in the family Accipitridae.

The Chinese sparrowhawk (Tachyspiza soloensis) is a bird of prey in the family Accipitridae. 
This species was formerly placed in the genus Accipiter.

The bird breeds in Southeast China, Taiwan, Korea and Siberia; winters in Indonesia and Philippines, passing through the rest of Southeast Asia. 
The habitat is mostly in forests, but sometimes on the edges.

The Japanese sparrowhawk (Tachyspiza gularis) is a bird of prey in the family Accipitridae which also includes many other diurnal raptors such as eagles, buzzards and harriers. 
This bird species breeds in parts of Russia, Korea, Japan, and China and winters in Southeast Asia.
