Siem Reap

Siem Reap Province is located to the northern extent of the Tonle Sap Lake, north-west of Cambodia. The provincial capital is Siem Reap Town, the gateway to explore the legendary temples of Angkor. Siem Reap Town is 314km from Phnom Penh via NH No. 6 and 150km from Poipet border-crossing between Cambodia and Thailand.

Kampong Thom

Kampong Thom Province is situated to the east of the Tonle Sap Lake and is home to many important Pre-Angkorian sites including  Sombor Prei Kuk Temple.. The provincial capital of the province is Kampong Thom Town, 165 km from Phnom Penh and 151 km from Siem Reap. Kampong Thom is a popular stopover for trips between Phnom Penh and Siem Reap and could be used as the base to explore the remote temples such as Preah Khan and Prasat Preah Vihear.
