    Pnoepyga is a genus of passerines endemic to southern and southeastern Asia. Its members are known as cupwings or wren-babblers. 

    Pnoepyga, Pnoepygidae: pnoe [Greek] πνοή (pnoē): wind, breath, breeze, soul; pyga: puge meaning "rump".

    The bird is found in southern and eastern Asia from the Himalayas to Indochina.
