Trang An covers an area of 10,000 hectares which is spectacular with a system of rivers and waterways, karst formations alternated by valleys, paddy fields, and villages.

  • Originally, Trang An was the name of the city at Hoa Lu after the capital of Dai Viet Kingdom (Vietnam then) was moved to Hanoi in 1010 A.D.

  • Van Long Nature Reserve is flooded land with ranges of karst mountains all around in Gia Van Commune, Gia Vien District, Ninh Binh Province. The nature reserve is 90km south of Hanoi via Route 1.
