Trekking Tour Hang Kia – Mai Chau is a moderate trekking adventure tour for 2 days, 1 night. On the tour, we’ll have 2 hours hiking to the valley of Hang Kia perched on 1,200m above sea level on the first day and 3-4 hours trekking downhill to the Mai Chau Valley.

The tour provides you with panoramic views of the amazing mountains and forests around Hang Kia and Mai Chau. On the tour we’ll use private transport. And accommodation is homestay at a H’mong family with house on stilts with clean sleeping places and Western toilet. Private bungalow room is available upon request with additional cost.

Detailed itinerary

Day1 Hanoi – Pa Co – Hang Kia (L/D)

0800 A.M Have a 4-hour road trip to Moc Chau Plateau. On arrival at Pa Co, welcomed by our local guide and we take a 2-hour trek to the village. Picnic lunch en route amid fresh nature.
In the afternoon visit the village to learn about the local Red H’mong.
Overnight at Hang Kia.

Day2 Hang Kia – Cun Pheo – Mai Chau – Hanoi (B/L)

06:00 AM-0630 A.M early morning, have a motorbike ride to the cloud-hunting site for photography of the great landscape. Then travel back to the homestay for breakfasts.
Have 3 hours trekking downhill through patches of forest from Hang Kia to Mai Chau Valley. On arrival at Cun Pheo, welcomed by our driver and travel further to the center of the Mai Chau Valley.
Lunch at a local Thai family.
Have time for a leisurely walking tour around the village.
Travel back to Hanoi by car.
