Binh Thuan Province is in the southern coast of Vietnam. The capital of Binh Thuan Province is the city of Phan Thiet, 150km south of Phan Rang – Thap Cham and 200km north-east of Ho Chi Minh City.

Binh Thuan Province along with Ninh Thuan Province is the most arid region of Vietnam with the average rainfall of 1,024mm per annum (some areas in the region receives less than 500mm of rainfall per year), with average humidity of 79% and with average temperate of 27 Degrees Celsius. There are two seasons in Binh Thuan Province: the rainy season is from May through October and the dry season is from November through April.
