Below you can find the timetables for the trains from Hanoi to to Hue, Da Nang, Nha Trang and Saigon. The rail fares will be informed upon receiving your request. The service charge by AdventureGreen is USD4/ticket. Upon receiving payment, the train ticket will be issued and sent to you via email. You are to show the e ticket (either in paper form or digital form) to the train staff when boarding.
All train carriages are air-conditioned nowadays. Boiling drinking water is provided on some trains. There are 4-sleeper and 6-sleeper compartments and a dining carriage on each train. If you are used to noisy and rocky trains, then traveling by train in Vietnam is fairly comfortable. Security on the trains is normally good, as the train company provides staff responsible for each carriage. A train trip, especially an overnight one, would give you interesting insight of local life.
Taking a train at night in Hanoi, you'll arrive in Hue or Da Nang in the morning or mid day which is convenient for you in finding transfers or booking hotels...
